Kent Egging Joins Paul Carlson Partnership Team

Paul Carlson Partnership is pleased to announce Rev. Kent Egging as Partner Engagement Representative, effective August 1, 2024.

Kent comes to this position with a desire to use his nearly 40 years of ministry experience to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people. He gave his life to Christ through the ministry of Young Life in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. He earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in Russian language and culture. After teaching for three years, he headed east to study at North Park Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree. Over the next 30 years he served as the pastor of churches in Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington, earning a Doctor of Ministry in leadership development along the way.

In 2014, Kent and his wife, Rhonda, were commissioned as Serve Globally personnel. For eight years they worked alongside pastors and their families in Russia and Sweden. They now live in Portland once again to be close to their daughter Annalea, their son Christopher, daughter-in-law Lucy, and grandson Theo.

Kent is a team player who loves long conversations, especially if they involve Russia, history, or Russian history. He prefers the aisle seat, the bottom bunk, and lots of ice in his soda. Welcome, Kent!
